Fire Fighters

Over the next few weeks we are learning about firefighters and fire safety. Be sure to check your smoke alarms at home to make sure they are working! 

Blending

In Junior Infants, we have started blending the sounds we know to make words. We use magnetic boards and letters to help us. You can do this at home too! ☺

Farmer Visit

We were very lucky today to have Clara from senior infants and her Dad visit us and tell us all about what happens on the farm in the autumn time! We got to see (and smell!) some of the food that cows eat and also the hay that cows sleep on. Thank-you Clara and her Dad, Tom for teaching us all about life on the farm!

Garda Visit

We were very lucky to be visited by Garda Twomey today! He talked to us about his job and taught us all about road safety. We also got to see the Garda car and hear the siren! Then for the real surprise...we met two of the gardaí ' s very special helpers...Have a look and see who they were!!!
